The wait is almost over, Hawkins fans! Netflix’s mega-hit Stranger Things is officially coming back this fall for its fifth and final season. Hard to believe it all started in 2016—nearly a decade later, the show is still keeping us hooked with its lovable cast, creepy creatures, and all the ‘80s nostalgia we can handle.

It’s been four years since Season 4 wrapped up, thanks to the writers’ strike, next-level production demands, and even the cast needing time to grow into their characters. Of course, delays are nothing new for Stranger Things lovers—remember, we had to wait three years between Seasons 3 and 4!

How Many Episodes Are We Getting?

Season 5 is rolling out in three parts, giving fans multiple binge nights to look forward to.

  • Volume 1 (Episodes 1–4) hits Netflix on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, 2025.
    • Ep. 1: “The Crawl”
    • Ep. 2: “The Vanishing of…” (full title still under wraps 👀)
    • Ep. 3: “The Turnbow Trap”
    • Ep. 4: “Sorcerer”
  • Volume 2 (Episodes 5–7) lands on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025.
    • Ep. 5: “Shock Jock”
    • Ep. 6: “Escape from Camazotz”
    • Ep. 7: “The Bridge”
  • The Grand Finale (Episode 8) drops on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2025.
    • Ep. 8: “The Rightside Up”

And here’s the kicker: each drop will hit at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, meaning Netflix is giving us the rare gift of a primetime release. 🎉
