Twenty One Pilots have dropped a brand-new single from their upcoming album Breach, titled “Drum Show.” The track showcases a grittier, heavier rock sound, with an especially hard-hitting bridge that sets it apart from much of the duo’s past material. Notably, the song introduces drummer Josh Dun as a featured vocalist for the first time, taking on part of the lead with the recurring line, “I’ve been this way / I want to change.”

Earlier this week, frontman Tyler Joseph revealed further details about the project via social media. He announced that the opening song, “City Walls,” will serve as the closing chapter to a story the band has been building for over ten years. Joseph also confirmed that the track’s music video will debut on the same day as the full album release, September 12.

The Breach tracklist includes:

  1. City Walls
  2. Rawfear
  3. Drum Show
  4. Garbage
  5. The Contract
  6. Downstairs
  7. Robot Voices
  8. Center Mass
  9. Cottonwood
  10. One Way
  11. Days Lie Dormant
  12. Tally
  13. Intentions

To support the album, Twenty One Pilots will embark on a U.S. headline tour starting in Cincinnati this September, before concluding with two stadium shows in Los Angeles in October.
