THE VOICE OVER JAPAN
Yukiko founded Voiceover Japan.
Voiceover Japan is the first platform in Japan specifically created to train and mentor Japanese voiceover artists for international markets. It is not an agency but an educational and professional development community. Its purpose is to teach Japanese talent how to work directly with overseas clients, build sustainable global careers, and confidently present themselves beyond Japan.
Her teaching approach is practical, supportive, and realistic. She does not promise fame, but she shows artists how the global voiceover business actually works—something that was previously inaccessible in Japan.
Voiceover Japan has helped hundreds of Japanese narrators rethink their potential. Many of its members have gone on to book overseas work, increase their income, and gain confidence communicating with international clients. In addition, Yukiko established the Voiceover Japan Awards, the first awards program in the country dedicated to honoring Japanese voice talent active in global markets.
Today, Yukiko Fujimura is known not only as a voice artist but also as a mentor, educator, and industry reformer. She continues to work professionally as a narrator and bilingual MC while leading a movement that empowers Japanese voices to be heard worldwide.
Her story is ultimately about transformation—turning personal career challenges into a broader mission and reshaping how Japanese voice talent sees its place in the world.
